3. Technical Cycle: The Foundation for Mastery

The Technical Cycle is a crucial phase lasting approximately 8-10 weeks. While the overall exercise load decreases, the intensity is ramped up significantly.

Having established your strength and speed in prior training cycles, the focus now shifts to refining technique and maintaining muscle tone through resistance exercises. Each drill should be meticulously analyzed to understand its contribution to the technical aspects of your jump. Paying close attention to your body's sensations during the jump, discussing your technique with your coach, and actively analyzing your performance are all integral components of this phase.

Recovery is paramount during the Technical Cycle. Proper cool-down routines, including foot exercises and massages, are essential. Additionally, supplementing your diet with electrolytes and creatine before and/or after workouts can aid in optimizing recovery and performance.
